Steve Borwieck - Our Founder
My name is Steve Borwieck and I am the owner of Prairie Homes, LLC. I have been in the Real Estate business for the last decade, and have a passion for helping my customers accomplish all of their goals whether that is selling, buying, and also building homes!!
When I am not working you can find me with my wife who I have been happily married to for 27 years, and our two daughters Megan, my son-in-law Sammy, my daughter Morgan, and our new addition to our family, my grandson Slater who was born in 2024. Two of my hobbies I enjoy more than anything are wake surfing with my family, and cruising in my 64' Malibu with my wife.
I have lived in the area my entire life so I am the typical PNW native. I love the mountains, the beaches, hiking, boating, anything and everything outdoors and of course, I love a good microbrew.
Kat Armes - Operations Manager
I am married with four wonderful, grown children. I was a stay at home mom for 16 years when Steve hired me to be the Office Manager of his Real Estate Brokerage in 2012.
In 2018 Steve sold his Brokerage and asked me to take on the role of his licensed personal assistant. As we continued to sell Real Estate, Steve also set his sights on developing a Real Estate Team which I help manage as well.
About this time, Prairie Homes, LLC was established and we entered the realm of New Construction and Remodeling. I can be found behind the scene in all aspects of our business. I consider myself an Operations Manager, Transaction Coordinator, and Accounts Payable Officer.
